Keyboard Main Small

Allows you to configure certain aspects of your keyboard.

Midi Output Device: This drop down menu allows you to select what computer program or Audio Device the audio track plays from.

Midi Input Device: This drop down menu allows you to select which device is the source keyboard.

Size Test: This test allows you to play the highest (far right) and lowest (far left) notes on the keyboard to indicate to the computer the size of your keyboard.

On-Screen Keyboard Size: This selects the number of octaves of keys that are displayed while playing the game. For example, if you have a 5-octave keyboard (five sets of seven white keys) and the song uses only 2 octaves the full 5 octaves will be shown but the unused octaves will be shown as gray and you will be unable to play them. If you set the on-screen keyboard size at 2 octaves it will only show the two octaves used for the song. The only exception to this is when the game is in horizontal play mode.

Keyboard Sensitivity Test: This test determines whether your keyboard is touch sensitive or not. This allows the game to know whether it should be playing a note softer or louder depending on how hard the key is pressed. This effect more closely resembles a real piano.
